Many neighbors ask if they can pay something to help cover the costs of the Neighborhood Dumpster. In lieu of payments to me, I encourage you to make a donation to Positive Charge! PDX, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to amplifying kindness. Positive Charge! PDX volunteers give their time to facilitate collections for various groups in need, create art for various causes, and respond to humanitarian needs through its Emergency Kindness Events. Positive Charge also uses social media to share good news from throughout Portland and across the globe. By creating relationships with various individuals and organizations, Positive Charge! PDX provides solo programming and amplifies other community organizations to help build a better community.
