What CANNOT Go In The Dumpster

You are welcome to bring almost everything you want to be hauled away and place it in the dumpster.

Please donate gently-used items to any one of many charitable organizations now accepting donations, and take recyclable items to Metro Recycling or another local recycling facility.

Please DO NOT put any of the following in the dumpster – especially TIRES:

 

· TIRES

· paint that has not dried out in the can

· styrofoam

· hazardous materials

· chemical products, including herbicides

· pesticides

· oil or oil filters

·TIRES

· solvents or flammable liquids of any kind

· propane tanks or aerosol cans

·antifreeze

railroad ties

·TIRES

· styrofoam

· batteries

· computers

· televisions

· microwave ovens

· fluorescent tubes

· TIRES

· medical waste

· barrels (wood/lumber is okay)

· construction/remodeling debris

· cement exterior shingles or roofing materials

· TIRES

· textured wallboard, including popcorn ceilings

· Floor, ceiling and wall tiles

· insulation of any kind

· vinyl flooring tiles or sheet vinyl

· TIRES

PLEASE DO NOT STACK ITEMS ABOVE THE TOP OF THE DUMPSTER OR LEAVE ITEMS OUTSIDE THE DUMPSTERPlease carry your items to the back of the dumpster, or as far back as you can go once it starts to fill up.

You’ll be able to open the doors during the day.  I will secure the doors at night.  And please do not let your children play inside.
